He won the Clasico Hipodromo de San Felipe, Polla de Potrillos Roberto Alvarez Calderon Rey - Peruvian Two Thousand Guineas (G1), and Alfredo Benavides y Alfredo Benavides Diez Canseco.
Now standing at stud in the United States for the first time, Alex Rossi is located at ATO Horses Farm in Sage, California (between Temecula and Hemet). He is a son of Freud (full brother to Giant's Causeway; sired by Storm Cat), who has been the leading New York sire by turf earnings, average turf earnings per runner, turf stakes wins, turf stakes winners. Freud offspring is known to be versatile: His colts and fillies are primed to win graded races on turf, dirt, and polytrack. Uncharacteristic for Storm Cat lines, they have great minds, which includes Alex Rossi. Freud bankrolled $ 6,320,911 in 2017, unchallenged by 2nd and 3rd (Big Brown) sires.

Alex Rossi exudes confidence and perseverance. He retired sound from a fabulous career in Thoroughbred flat racing and is ready to start his new jobs.
